Technex 2014, National Level Fest organized by IIT (BHU), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

March 2 2014, Varanasi: Technex 2014 is the fest organized by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT- BHU), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. This is the annual festival in the college and will be held from 7 March 2014 to 9 March 2014.

Technex’14 Team says:
Countless novel and groundbreaking technological advancements in the last decade have seen Technology evolve into a multifaceted being. With the intricacies of technology getting more complex, the designers faced the new-fangled task of encapsulating the technology in an urn that could both, amaze and tempt. As novel as the problem was, the solution was even more uncomplicated. The vitality of human-machine interaction obligated Technology to become effortlessly straightforward. Interfaces, these days, are designed solely attempting to make the exchange of information simpler, realizing that “Simplicity is the ultimate Sophistication”.

Technex ’14, the techno-management gala of IIT (BHU) is a tribute to this very realization that has gone on to change the face of modern technology. Technex is a celebration of the building blocks of our modern lifestyles, Technology and Management. Technex 2014 thus intends to bring to you a techno-management carnival, astounding in its very Simplicity.

Events are as follows:
MODEX- Innovation has been the prime tool for development since the beginning of human civilization. Human mind always has a plethora of ideas and has the dexterity to mould them meticulously. Technex presents Modex the model exhibition event, a platform to bring forth the latent Einstein inside, sculpt the heuristic minds and ideas reflecting the modern world.

XTREME ENGINEERING- Do you think you can have the mettle to provide indigenous solutions to real world problems or you can engineer conditions to your advantage. Xtreme Engg in Technex provides you an opportunity to showcase your engineering skills. The events in this section test the skills related to specific branches of engineering in through rigorous challenges

BYTE THE BITS- Technex’14 brings forth Byte the Bits, a coding event where you will be required to use your creative coding mind and techniques to solve the task at hand. You will be given a set of problems and you have to code them so as make computer produce the desired result. So come innovate, create and win away attractive prizes.

PAHAL- Bringing a change in society needs more than just an idea. Technex invites you to come forward to bring a change in the society through Pahal, the social initiatives. Pahal invites you to start the change to inspire others for the establishment of what can be an ideal society.

CREATRIX- Technology, throughout history has been coupled with creation and designing in turn providing a platform to fuse innovation with creativity to convert novel ideas into groundbreaking inventions. With the expanse in Technology and its manifold advances, it has always been a challenge for designers to present the technology in a manner so as to amaze as well as intrigue. Creatrix at Technex provides you a befitting opportunity to put to test your creativity in a grueling competitive environment.

ROBONEX- Robot is any physical entity that makes our work easier. Making a robot for a specifc purpose is a crucial job. If you have the spark to make a robot, then come and be a part of Robonex the robotics event of Technex. Participants have to make robots according to the given problem statement. Robonex has always been the centre stage of attraction right from its inception. It has proved what all a young innovative mind is capable of.

SYMPOSIO- After a long day of hard work, it is your right to have some fun and refresh your minds. Technex presents Symposio the informal events to refresh your mind. Symposio events will be conducted on the spot during Technex.

RIQUEZA- No goal can be achieved without proper management despite being how skilled you are. Management is the science of planning, organizing, leading and controlling the resources to achieve the goals and objectives of an organization. As said by Tom Northup- “No great manager or leader ever fell from heaven, its learned not inherited.” Management is learnt not inherited.
