This is one of the Top Engineering Colleges in India , stands out soon after the IITs and the first choice of Students from CET toppers. So RVCE has got brilliant students who can score high and supportive to that statement are very good teachers. This college follows absolute grading which eases tension among students and is an autonomous college. There is enough free time for students to participate in extra curricular activities and the college too encourages students to participate in sports etc. There will be department fests every year and College fest every two years. Huge campus, great infrastructure, best placements, top students, good teachers. So the best college in Bangalore. Anyone to get into this college will be very lucky. For the rank cut offs, in simple , all the branch seats will be filled on the first day of the counseling.

PES Institute of Technology, PESIT, Autonomous, Absolute grading from this year

Address : 100 Feet Ring Road  Banashankari Stage III, Bangalore, Karnataka 560085
Phone number : 080 2672 1983
pes.edu

There has been immense growth and excellent results from this college over recent years. It has been an autonomous college which was following relative grading but now changed back to absolute grading easing the pressure on the students. The schedule here is very hectic and the pressure on the students is very high. The faculty, discipline, students are all the best but the student life filled with happiness cant be continued here. Strict, competition and no support for the extra curricular activities are the main draw backs. There has been competition between this and RVCE for the first spot but this settles for the second on the student reviews. Placements are phenomenal here, everything is good, just the pressure on students makes it the second choice. Atmatrisha is the annual fest and there will be lot of science fest, best place for academic students.

Colleges in banglore.. we have very few good colleges in bangalore and those rated above are certainly the best.

I would like to advise new students that pls take a proposer background check of the college before taking admission( if choosing any other colleges)… Pvt. Colleges are just to make money not your future.. they are only interested in getting most seats under 1.4L or 1.5 L category so that they can earn profits……

I have seen that most of the PVT. colleges don’t even pay proper salary as per the UGC/AICTE standards from which they are approved/affiliated with…If colleges don’t pay well the good faculty don’t s stay or seeing low salary no talented people wanted to join the teaching line..result you can and will find most feedbacks about faculty being bad.. faculty not good…. etc. BUT Pvt. colleges charge fees as per prescribed by state govt. /AICTE etc.
My honest advise to you all is to try to get admission in Government colleges/ govt aided colleges where the fees is low and the facilities are there for your self development and exposure to the industry/training etc…i know some colleges have started M.Tech but they don’t even have proper Labs..

THIS is Business and this is run to make profits … no one is interested in your learning, you keep giving hefty fees and keep on writing negative feedbacks but nothing will ever change the functioning of Pvt. engg colleges.
